Five

Pushing toward a goal that seems far-fetched but stretching and striving to achieve it seems impossible, but you continue without letting up and then you realize that you can get to that goal when you put your mind to it.

Moving on to things that are meaningful in life far out-weighs irrelevant meaningless things in life. Imagine a life without people; I have, and it was delirious and incomprehensibly meaningless. Life with people in it, makes life worth living as we interact and interface with each other daily. Life they say is for the living; so enjoy it or not.

Ooze

Hope is looking and searching for something that you never thought would happen to you. when you find it, its a mind-blowing, mind-changing, and a mind-oozing phenomena. A ray of hope in a life echoed by the changing phases of intimacies endured, preserved through relentless creation of the mind. Hope is out there, we just need patience to find it. When we think of the word ooze what comes to mind is liquid oozing out from something or from our body. It reminds me of sweat oozing out of my pores after a vigorous physical exercise. It could be worse; blood oozing out of a cut or deep wound.

Trance

Nothingness – intangible.
Gazing out into nothingness and discovering a multitude of answers that are fascinating and realistic. Awake and dreaming of what ifs, what can be, and what not.
Falling into a trance is a subconscious state of mind, that gives me the latitude to dream bigger and come out of it and realize that I can.

Start, continue, and finish…
Many people start something but never finish.
Many people start something, they continue, but never finish.
Many people start something, continue, and finish.
Where do I fit-in?
I have started somethings but never finish because it turned out to be hard.
I have started somethings that I found interesting, continued, but lost interest.
I have started something, continued, and finished.
What have you started, continued, or finished?

Recite – Tongue Twister

Allegory comes to mind:
Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Pepper
A Peck of Pickled Pepper Peter Piper Picked
If Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Pepper
Where is the Peck of Pickled Pepper Peter Piper Picked?
Still quite vivid in my head to recite this poem, but for the life of me, I cannot remember who to credit. Help anyone?

Two

I really cannot begin to understand why there is so much hate in the world. We only have this one life to relate with others, have fun, and live. My background growing up did not prepare me for the amount of hate I had experienced since becoming an adult. I refuse to let it define me, so I continue to be unabashed and unshaped by it all.

Daily Prompt: Solitary

Solitary Being
Wow! Being in the midst of family, friends, colleagues; having conversations, laughing, and generally having a good time. Really! If asked to regurgitate the conversation, I am sure you will come up empty. You mind-travelled at the very beginning; putting up a façade of interest in being part of something, but not there. For me, solitary is not being alone with people, go figure!

To start to put words in your head into writing sounds like a good idea until you set out to do just that and realize there is more to it than what you thought. It is not an easy thing to do, but will try. This is my very first post. More to come.
